Through nationally coordinated investment and collaboration across institutions, NCRIS has built one of the world’s most respected research infrastructure systems - delivering impact across health, agriculture, energy, defence, environmental science and advanced manufacturing.

The NCRIS@20 events were held in Canberra, and across the country, from 29–30 June 2026. Thank you to everyone who joined to celebrate two decades of nationally coordinated research infrastructure. The Reception at Parliament House, the Symposium at the Australian National University and the Staff Celebrations held nationwide were a fitting tribute to twenty years of collaboration and impact, and to the people who have made it possible.
